Students are rewarded with "Pizza with the Principal" for earning 100 AR points before a predetermined deadline.

Six students earned 100 points before the first deadline and celebrated their accomplishment with Dr. Bouldin.

West Elementary School principal, Elton Bouldin, received a certificate of recognition from the State Department of Education for "Exceeding the Challenge" with regard to the school's performance on NCLB standards during the 2005 - 2006 school year.  Dr. Bouldin's understanding of curriculum, instruction, and supervision has served as a catalyst that has taken West Elementary School students and teachers to new levels of excellence.

Our school received the "Exceeding the Challenge" Award for the 2006 - 2007 school year, as well.
